Have a new puzzle type debuting on my blog this week. This format, like many, was originally conceived by Patrick Berry. Fill each blank spot in the grids so that 8 letter English words read both across and down.
Not in an opportune situation at the moment, but I'm still trying my best to get something out every week. If you're unfamiliar with metapuzzles, the gist is that each clue will have multiple words or phrases divided by commas, and you'll need to use them to derive the answer using various forms of wordplay or puzzle solving mechanics. An example would be [ACE DARLING, JACK FROST, KING LEONIDAS, QUEEN OF HEARTS]. In this case, if you order the answers by the starting playing card rank, the rest of the answers start with the letters FOLD. Nearly all the metals are presented in alphabetical order, meaning you'll need to also use the answers to find a different ordering to solve. Congrats on 7max18 for solving my last puzzle! a
Sorry to all who were concerned about the wait. It was both a drought of puzzle ideas, and a lack of responses to my previous trivia tourney, which reminds me... Don't forget to respond to the form in my last post! Anyhoo, to make up for the lack of new puzzles, I have put together a mini puzzle hunt! Each of the 5 main puzzles will somehow resolve to a 1-2 word answer phrase. The meta will then combine these answers into one final answer. Feel free to reach out to me for answer confirmation for any of the puzzles or meta at troydear@gmail.com. With that, click here to enter Puzzleland!
Hello everyone! Figured I'd take a page from what all the cool poeple are doing and make my own crossword blog. I'll try to have something new here every week. It could a crossword, puzzle hunt puzzle, round of trivia, anything tricky or fun! Hope you enjoy!
